WINTER HAIR Clients ask “why is my hair so lifeless”? The answer is cold, dry weather. In the winter time the cold, dry air has no moisture, therefore leaving your hair with no body. In addition, the heat we use in our homes dries the air even more. This also causes static electricity. And then I hear, “I’m bored. Should I change the color or style of my hair?” The answer is no to both. If your hair is current and on a six to eight week schedule, your hairstyle is not the problem. To help dry, lifeless winter hair humidify your bathroom and use the correct products to see a tremendous difference. The bottom line is if your hair is precision cut, you have a quality hair color to match your skin and eye tone, and in good condition; then it’s a good possibility it is the lack of moisture in the air due to cold, dry weather.
