| EVERY SIX TO EIGHT WEEKS How long should my hairstyle last? Your hair grows approximately one half inch per month; the life of your haircut lasts six to eight weeks. One half to one inch growth can effect the performance of your hairstyle. Some clients forget why their hair isn't manageable and forget the new growth may be the problem with their style. We have clients come in for hair appointments and say, "Cut more off," or "My hair is too heavy or too long." The fact is - you only need to cut the new growth that has grown from your last haircut. If your stylist is not texturing your hair, your hairstyle will not last as long or perform as well. We do two methods of texturizing to each haircut. This is the difference in a great haircut verses the other types of haircuts you receive. Also remember fresh hair color makes a big difference in the performance of your style. Color gives lift and body to your hair. How long has it been since you've had a great haircut? |
